REE Medical

Military Appreciation Month

Save $300* on more support to strengthen your disability claim.

We’re Giving Back to the Veteran Community During Military Appreciation Month

Available May 27th–31st

In observance of Military Appreciation Month, we’re opening the door to a fair rating even wider with up to $300 off our Initial Claim and Increase Claim services. It’s one way we can make it easier for you, and Veterans like you, to take the next step toward the benefits they deserve.

And for every Veteran that REE Medical helps this month, a portion of the proceeds goes to funding a full scholarship through Folds of Honor, a like-minded partner focused on meeting the most critical needs of Veterans and their families.

Comprehensive medical evidence does more than document a disability. It’s the proof you need to build a stronger claim. And an accurate rating is about much more than financial fairness. Behind every claim is a life, a family, and a future that depends on getting it right.

Our Simple 4 Step Process

Honoring Military Sacrifice: Then and Now

25 years ago, a proposal to mark the entire month of May as an observance of gratitude for our military fighters and families passed unanimously in the Senate. Today, we join countless organizations nationwide to tangibly honor the courage of those who sacrifice for our freedoms.

For those dealing with the long-term effects of a service-connected disability, it starts with strengthening their VA claim and connecting them with what they have been missing.

More compassion. More accuracy. More support.

At REE Medical, we aim to transform a frustrating disability claims process and replace “underrated” with “overprepared”—because we know the cost of an unfair rating is not just financial. It goes well beyond a dollar amount. It’s about your life and how the resulting benefits can change it for the better.

When you sign up, you’ll first get a convenient medical evaluation that is worth your time. Then, medical evidence that accurately conveys your disabilities and credibly illustrates their impact. Most importantly, our team will be with you every step of the way to answer your questions and make sure nothing is overlooked.
It’s a personalized, independent process that does more than check a box; it makes sure you’re fully heard.

These scholarships cover K-12 private school tuition, tutoring, and higher education expenses, including college, technical, or trade school, and postgraduate programs. The program aims to alleviate the financial burden of education for families who have sacrificed so much, ensuring they have access to the opportunities they deserve.

Common Questions

We’ve done our best to make finding answers easy. If you have questions, start here.

Disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) are used to collect and record relevant medical information for the purpose of processing Veterans’ disability claims. DBQs are medical examination forms that the VA uses to evaluate the severity of a Veteran’s disabilities. These forms are instrumental in the process of applying for an increase in your VA disability rating, as they guide the VA to properly rate the progression of your condition. It is essential that DBQs are completed accurately and with attention to detail, documenting all aspects of a Veteran’s worsening conditions. At REE Medical, we work with a network of private doctors who have an understanding of the claims process.

Veterans may choose to work with REE Medical when they need detailed, independent medical documentation that complements the VA’s processes. While the VA and personal physicians provide important care, REE Medical connects Veterans with independent medical providers who specialize in conducting evaluations that meet VA standards for disability claims. Our services are especially beneficial if you’ve struggled with incomplete or insufficient medical evidence in past claims or feel your disability is not fully documented.

  • An Initial Claim is filed when a Veteran is seeking a disability rating for a service-connected condition that has not been rated before by the VA.
  • An Increase Claim applies when a Veteran already has a service-connected disability rating but believes their condition has worsened and needs to request a higher rating.
